Once, Sesame Street was a lifeline for indie animators. It offered money and incredible freedom to create. This built an indie animation boom that powered MTV, Nickelodeon and much more. We explore: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/the-golden...

Decided to try out Paint Tool SAI a few days ago. I then realized how smooth drawing sketches are, compared with Macromedia Fireworks is. I have now found a new favorite art tool to recreate pencil sketches like my notebook. 💛

Another art commission by @rhoeiziel.bsky.social of my soft, motherly and VERY frisky snuggle-spoop OC, Passionate. ❤ The rubenesque snuggle-spoop whos kindness and sweetness is about as huge as xyrs enormous marshmallows. Just one hug from xem and you will never let go. ❤❤❤

A digital drawing of a large, plump, fluffy, very busty, red-velvet, bunny-like snuggle-spoop with emerald eyes, belly pouch, huge lips, long fluffy dark velvet head hair and a cutie mark on xyrs face. Xe has xyrs right hand on xyrs right marshmallow and the other hand blowing a kiss towards you. Backdrop is full of love letters with kiss mark on them with a heart shape record.

A cute little picture for @sunnyaliceart.bsky.social. I thought a warm fluffy friend might like a hug from another warm fluffy friend. #originalcharacter #OC

An illustration of two characters. One is a big, fluffy, purple dog-like alien with four striped arms. The lightest parts of her fur (neck fluff and the stripes on her arms and tail) have little sparkles in them. She is wearing a blue dress with a lighter blue apron and shawl (all three have light cream colors lace on them). The second character is a fluffy four-armed sun themed character. The first character is giving the second character a big hug. Both characters look happy and relaxed.

Image show Frenzy (blue snuggle-spoop) and Fluff (Yellow snuggle-spoop) wearing St. Sh. L. uniform/power suits. Frenzy is wearing lime green like (xyrs flower) that has a big lips on it. Fluff, who is not acting like xemself, is wear light pink with big lip mark on it like Frenzy's.

Was this the month for pride? - Just wanted to finish a pride month drawing before the month ends, even when it's a sad theme. 💛💜

The drawing shows a sad and teary eyed Fluff holding a pride progress flag. Bedtime who is right behind xem and also teary eyed puts xyrs hand on Fluff's shoulder hoping xe will recover from xyrs fear.

After a hard-fought battle against the St.Sh. League, James (right) gets healed by being transformed into a Snuggle Spoop. Frenzy (left) also fixes James' hat.

Snuggle Spoop transformed James laughs at S.M., who has also been transformed into a Snuggle Spoop, much to her dismay. She can't move forward with her conquest as a soft, cuddle creature with no St.Shs equipped.

Here's an old set of commissions I've done for @brainstar64.bsky.social 2 years ago! Thanks for your continued support, and welcome to Bluesky! 😊 #artcommission #commission #originalcharacter

Esme, a Snuggle Spoop, gives Brittany, my Blob character, a big, warm cuddle on a large bean bag.

Esme and S.M. (my character) rests on top of Nighty. S.M. is immobilized by love, while Esme slowly takes off her main weapons, the St.Shs.. This ensures S.M. won't cause any damage to them or their world.

Holly Bear ʕ 👁️ ᴥ👁️ʔ 🎃🦇 @bearhybrid.art · 29/04/2025

This may be one of the worst times to be posting art online. So many platforms being swamped with AI, spammed with aggressive bots and algorithms that will hide you until you play their silly secret games. What else can we do but ride it out? 🐻 #TheBearMinimum

Holly bear walking with her stuff packed across an internet browser:
Text reads: I have posted my art online for 25 years now and the the main thing I have learned over the years is to diversify where you post.

Holly bear walking past the ruins of DeviantArt with a sad expression, a campfire long since abandoned. Behind the DA sign art thieves are stuffing paintings into black bags and a robot bear is printing endless pictures. Text reads: Keep posting to as many relevant platforms as you have energy for, because enshittification comes for them all

Holly bear walks past the 'X' sign which has burned it's way through the twitter bird. She has an annoyed expression on her face and the campfire by her looks recently abandoned. There is a dumpster on fire, an onlybears model advertising and two bots talking to each other and printing out slop. Text reads: Do you have one site that you rely on for income? Prepare for it not being functional some day. It isn't pessimism to be prepared, when so many of the giants have been rendered unusable.

Holly bear sighs, taking a break and sitting down by a new campfire, not unpacking all her stuff. There is a small sign with the blue sky butterfly on it. Text reads: If you find a place with good community, negligible algorithms and feedback; try to live in the moment. Enjoy it while it lasts.
