1 million Portlanders by 2045 🌲🌧️🦫🚲🚇🚰 @bradleyclover.com · 23hI bought a used Tern GSD a few weeks ago, and while I absolutely love the frame, I've found myself feeling very disappointed by the Bosch motor. Its really underpowered for a cargobike. I've been considering reselling it and getting the Xpedition 2.0, but I'm undecided. 110

1 million Portlanders by 2045 🌲🌧️🦫🚲🚇🚰 @bradleyclover.com · 28/09/2026What that kind of a trip needs is express services. Think express tracks like on NYC subway lines, the high speed metros of east Asia, or most relevant for Vancouver trips, regional rail on legacy lines. Regional rail with excellent bus connections is the tool for that job. 2100

Disappointing because I think this lil bike is basicly the ideal setup for mid/high end ebikes bikes in the north American Market. Sealed gearbox, belt drive, and a powerful geared hub motor. It makes for a very low mainataince bike. 100

1 million Portlanders by 2045 🌲🌧️🦫🚲🚇🚰 @bradleyclover.com · 01/08/2026The thing that streetcar would need to work hard to avoid is left turn movements from cars over the tracks, which make light signals long, and which lead to cars regularly getting stuck on tracks (hello Yellow Line). You do that by having cars take a slightly longer route to make a turn. 140
