Read: Bones in the Blackout: A Romantic Wartime Cozy Mystery (Dr. Benjamin Bones Mysteries Book 1) The mystery is a bit light, characters interesting, good setting and period. Writing is engaging and no gore. Some romance but no mushy stuff or overblown angst, which is good IMHO. Brandy 4 shock!

Trump is pushing an alleged $15B steel mill to be built in Iowa. Iron ore will come from mines in Minnesota. No indication why the steel mill is not being located closer to the iron mine. Also, Iowa is landlocked. Also, Iowa is a long way from Detroit. Nothing against Iowa but I have questions

Looking for ebook mysteries at the Kobo shop, and there seems to be a heck of a lot of US$ 15.95 ebooks, which is IMHO a lot for an ebook edition. I suspect these are DRM’d ebooks by the big publishing houses. Kobo needs a button that takes you right to the modest priced indies.

I think the calls to slow down on AI development are very wise. I don’t trust the leaders of the companies developing AI. I think they are all rat bastards. There is no hurry, we’ve gotten along just fine for well over 10,000 years without AI and a delay of a few more years is no big deal.
