My latest email from HR: “Between March 6, 2026 and June 11, 2026 you had 0 sick days. Considering your schedule, your sick time impacted 0.00% of your scheduled workdays during this period.” I love that they calculated “nothing” to two decimal places.

I’m struggling with a thought exercise; I find myself within earshot of Donald Trump & must hurl an insult at him, something that would really hurt his feelings. What would that insult be? I’d only have a few secs so it’d have to be short. I’m drawing a complete blank. Can anyone help me out?

I realize this is a very petty grievance given the current on-going collapse of democracy in America, but please note the spelling at the end of the word “fentanyl.” It is “fentanyl” and not “fentanol.” This compound is not an alcohol. There, now I can die in peace.

It saddens me to think that the US constitution, as glorious and imperfect as it is, could never be conceived or written, and certainly not ratified by the quality of citizens we have living in America today.
