These are “low enrollment” majors but the classes are regularly at capacity. They changed the funding structure a few years ago here, switching the allocation from course enrollments to majors then blamed these departments for a structural, top-down change. This is entirely a political choice.

Today is my last first day of school. In 2021, I started to get my Doctorate in Teaching and Learning from ISU; and I’ll be done in about six months. I am excited for all that is coming my way and I am looking forward to sharing what I have been up to the last five years. More later.

Friendsgiving 2024 stats: - we had 2 turkeys, 5 side dishes, 14 kinds of desserts, 3 types of wine & 2 types of beer - we hosted 19 people, who contributed 24 different items - We made approx 3 trips to Walmart, and spent nearly 21 hours buying ingredients & cooking the food

B.J. Novak described the blue sky period in The Office writers' room as unencumbered creativity: "What if?" Anything was possible. In the wake of seismic shifts, I’m hope to treat this space as my own blue sky — a place for reinvention, possibility, & exploring new ideas. Let’s see where this goes.
