I just assumed he got his pajamas from the same tailor that Barney Stinson got his four-piece silk "suitjamas".

It was so frickin' hard to narrow it down to just *9* games! Honorable mention to "Dragon Age: The Veilguard".

From top to bottom and left to right: "Spy Fox 2: Some Assembly Required", "Pokemon: Yellow Version", "Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War", "Spore", "Mass Effect 2", "Horizon Zero Dawn", "Horizon Forbidden West", "Baldur's Gate 3", and "Dispatch".

I appreciate the heads-up. I figured more studios would start hiding their use of generative AI when they realized public disclosure hurt sales. All the more reason to call them out for it early and often.

The meme of Thomas Shelby from the TV show Peaky Blinders instructing and warning his gang members that there is to be "No fighting. NO FUCKING FIGHTING!". The top panel shows Shelby leaning into a man's face, pointing a finger and saying, "No supporting AI at any point of development." The bottom panel shows Shelby emphasizing his point by gesturing around the room and shouting, "NO FUCKING SUPPORTING AI AT ANY POINT OF DEVELOPMENT!"

Every time I see an advertisement about generative AI that says "It's okay if you're lazy.", "Not smart enough to solve problems?", or "C'mon, who has time to read?":

The "date even harder" meme of Michael Scott (Steve Carrell) from the TV series "The Office", when Pam tells him to stop dating her mother. The captions read, "You know what? I'm gonna start reading even harder."

I might be biased, but I honest think the Pleistocene exhibit might be even better than the dinosaurs at the Museum of the Rockies. Elephants are just such terrifying and awesome animals. Seeing a mammoth skull makes me appreciate the elephants we still have even more. 🦣🐘

Wishing a Happy Father's Day to my dad. We just wrapped our first time at Yellowstone National Park and just parted ways at the airport. Such an impressive place in nature, and I got to share it with my dad. 🦬

Not that many animals out and about today. It's cold and overcast, and we're getting rain in a couple hours. We're running over to Grand Prismatic Spring before the weather gets worse, and then it's back on the Grand Loop. But we got a good look at Old Faithful!

A little hard to make out, but I saw a family of geese floating along the Virgin River while hiking to the Grotto in Zion National Park. I tell ya, that's the dream: lazily floating down a canyon river as a goose.

Update: I survived! And my feet hurt slightly less than I expected! Got to the bus stop and then believe it or not, I kept going! I rode up to the Riverside Walk (to soak my feet) and then hiked from Big Bend to Weeping Rock. Currently enjoying the Lodge's biergarten. Then I collapse into sleep.

A view of the southwestern entrance to Zion National Park. This vantage point is the same spot as the Eclipse scout from the quest "Shadow from the Past" in Horizon Forbidden West, where the remnants of the Eclipse spied on the Carja fort Barren Light in the distance. I am living my best Oseram life in Zion National Park this weekend! I did the Emerald Pools hike today, with a leisurely stroll planned tomorrow for Big Bend and Riverwalk. I thought about hiking the Narrows, but it's a bit too pricey. Hope everyone is having a fantastic Memorial Day weekend!

I'm finding it difficult to put into words how much my mother means to me on this Mother's Day. Unquestionably the smartest person I have ever met. Humble, but so deserving of accolades. If I'm a good man, it's because I have just a fraction of her charm, intellect, and conviction. Love you, Mom.

I decided to grab dinner to go before driving back to Las Vegas. I heard about this Ukrainian restaurant called "Mom, Please" so I drove over to Playa Vista. Then I realized I've been here before. One thing I will say that Las Vegas does unquestionably better than any other city is live entertainment. This show tonight for Drum Tao is amazing! 🥁 Also, side note: great example why gamedevs should get out more. Every song is a new idea for another cutscene, another combat level, and more! 💡

I confess, my first thought entering the National Shrine of St. Francis of Assisi was, "Dang, I climbed those columns before." #HorizonForbiddenWest @guerrilla.bsky.social, I hate to admit it, but the game does not do justice for just how beautiful this church is.

Just the first meeting of Far Zenith, I'm sure. Look, there's Legally-Distinct-Not-Bezos, front and center!

As depicted in the video game Horizon Forbidden West, the surviving members of Far Zenith: a "futurist consortium" of billionaires that pooled their resources to buy more money and power, and eventually abandoning Earth after a corporate-caused extinction event.

I know I could have handled it more diplomatically. She just dug in her heels and insisted she didn't have time to "flip through the entire dictionary". (I said "thesaurus".) But it's so insulting to both my intelligence and hers. Also, "collaborative" is already a great action word for a resume.

Elon Musk's vision of interstellar space exploration and colonization:

The surviving members of Far Zenith: a group of billionaires and trillionaires who abandoned Earth during the Faro Plague to start a new extraterrestrial colony in the Sirius system. After destroying their own world, they returned to Earth in "Horizon Forbidden West" to rob Earth of vital resources and then escape into space again.
