Artist! Quote with your most detailed art!

A prussian blue linocut print on kozo mulberry paper featuring 2 mushrooms in the center of a decaying log covered in moss and hatched shadows. The upper third of the image features a diagonal semi-triangular shape of ink with a wavy bottom border with the thinner side on the right, and longer side on the left. The print contains considerable wavy chatter at a diagonal from upper right to lower left of the central third of the image, and the entire print has small margins surrounding it and torn edges.

A hyper-realistic depiction of the Cerberus of mythology. An homage to @doglines.bsky.social

A photo of a sketchbook page featuring a 3 headed dog drawn in black ink, with the left head looking to the left, the middle head looking straight forward, and the right looking forward at a slight angle.

My first ever attempt at a rainbow roll gradient linocut print. #art | #linocut | #linoprint | #printmaking | #flowers

A rainbow gradient inked linocut print on kozo mulberry paper depicting an image of a lotus flower covering the majority of the lower third of the image, above the petals, and in the center of the print is a symbol of taijitu (yin-yang), and the upper third is a relatively solid inked space with an irregular bottom border. All 4 sides of the print feature a solid rectangular border of around one third of an inch.

I have finally been freed from the clutches of the big sad that sapped all my motivation to art into the void, so I can now present Squeed my newest lino block. I was inspired by HP Lovecraft may he rest in piss for being a racist, but his work in cosmic horror has been inspirational for me.

A linoleum block carved with the image of a squid-like creature featuring 5 arms and 2 spade pointed tentacles, the body of the creature is carved with lines that give a textural difference. The creature is surrounded by 5 small round objects similar to bubbles, and the whitespace on the block surrounding the creature has small wave-like patterns

Another print to add to the bouquet, this time a mandevilla flower, I also used mulberry paper for the first time :3 #linocut || #linoprint || #printmaking || #art || #flowers || #releifprint

A black linocut print on ivory stock featuring a mandevilla flower in a rectangular frame. The flower sits in the foreground atop a stem leading to 4 buds to the upper left of the flower, as well as a single small leaf to the upper right of the flower. The flower also sits in front of 2 large overlapping leaves to the left pointing towards the upper left corner of the frame, these leaves also cover a second stem that extends from the top of the frame to the bottom, and ends in 2 buds. The flower in the foreground also covers 3 smaller overlapping leaves in the bottom right of the frame, the bottom most of is fading into the frame. The flower itself features 6 overlapping petals each covered in concentric arc-like lines leading towards the center of the flower. The petals terminate in the center of the flower where a series of marks expanding from the center point give the impression of an explosion or hole where the terminus of the petals would be.

I finished my first ever print set, meant to be framed together as a single whole :3 #printmaking #linocut #linoprint #art #flowers

A set of 3 black linocut prints on ivory paper hung by wooden clips from a drying line. The leftmost print is two carved calla lilies with rounded line accents growing from the bottom right of a rectangular frame. The negative space has moderate chatter, and the print has wide margins surrounding it. The center print is a magnolia flower growing from the bottom right corner of a simple rectangular frame. The rightmost print is 2 Japanese Anemone flowers growing from the bottom left of a rectangular frame, on the bottom left of the block there is an unopened bud, and above the bud is one of the 2 flowers facing the left hand side of the frame, there is a large stem to the right of the bud with 2 leaves on the right side of the stem, and the stem leads to the larger flower facing the viewer and a series of buds surrounding it. The flowers feature petals with parallel wiggly lines. There is mild wavy vertical chatter in the negative space to the left of the carved image.
