Looks like I’m not going to make it this year. I ended up back at my mom’s this week because of another health issue. I’m sad about it but life is like that sometimes. Hopefully I’ll make it down someday soon. If so, maybe we can get coffee or something.

It was the 23rd so you were right on time. As for carnival, I’m not sure. I just took a week and a half off to look after my mom after her heart surgery. I might not be able to get off work. If I do it will be a quick trip, but it would be great to see you if possible.

Iron Horse Grill for dinner. It’s right next to the train station. So if you are up for a slightly early dinner it’s easy access. They also regularly have live music (mostly blues) in the evenings as well.

I miss movie soundtracks. They don’t seem to make them anymore. What Gen X person out there hasn’t listened to the Pulp Fiction soundtrack? They were perfect collections of curated songs. Now I have to hope I get Shazam up in time to identify a song and that never seems to work out in my favor.
