If the workers of Ant, OAI, and GDM were all part of a union (e.g. a frontier AI guild), they could cooperate in ways that are illegal collusion for corporations. IMO, that would be a stronger alternative but achieve similar goals (slowdown for safety) of a cartel.

Just a reminder that four of these icebreakers will be built by our NATO ally Finland, and the other seven will be built in the United States by Finnish companies or using Finnish designs. The ones built in Finland will be the first off the dock in 2028.

Republicans, in their infinite wisdom, left a big gambling loophole in the Medicaid work requirements. I'm no fan of the gambling industry, but if you are on Medicaid and struggling to deal with the work requirements, taking a $580 bet on both sides of an outcome is one way of getting around them.
