NGC 1499 the California/Dragon Nebula emerging from tree cover. It's glowing a soft red and barely resembles either of its names if you squint really hard

the BIOS on this unbranded mini pc has some fascinating options and better CPU and memory tuning options than a lot of gaming desktop motherboards my existing RAM, m.2 drive, and wifi card went in and appear to be working with no issues!

Found a neat 4-in-1 frame with the Lobster Claw Nebula, the Bubble Nebula, the Cassiopeia Salt-and-Pepper cluster, and the Northern Lagoon Nebula all in one go #astrophotography

she's still tiny, but this little sausage went from a bit over 3kg before we got her and she was pregnant, to a nice round 5kg she's grown, but only in diameter
farron the cat curled up with her head upside down. one of her eyes is visible and is an intense seafoam due to my pc's rgb lighting farron lying on her side. she gets wider towards her rear, and it's not just perspective farron on my lap with her left paw slightly raised while I'm giving her back scritches

i love olight flashlights these clip ones are fantastic, and charge over usb-c instead of their proprietary one battery life is good, they get super bright and also have a moonlight mode, and they're solid metal
two small rectangular flashlights. the red one on the left has its red light on, while the orange one on the right has its spotlight on and its head is tilted slightly up an orange oclip 2 ultra lying mostly flat on the keyboard tray with its head tilted as far up as it'll go. its UV light is on, and its magnetic clip is rotated 90 degrees

telescope laptop got water in it when it rained a couple of days ago (had a cover on, but it didn't do its job well) she's dead, jimothy
 a 1tb m.2 ssd with water pooled around a cluster of SMDs, and what appears to be wet corrosion gunk spread within the puddle. there are also other areas with water on them. she's toast

February - September i've definitely come a long way in not even a year!
Heart nebula, you can definitely see the nebulosity and tell that it's a heart-shape, but there's not much detailthe heart nebula, multi-narrowband H-a, S2, O3. It's red, orange, yellow, and aqua, and there's quite a bit of detail in the clouds

i've never seen a flytrap flower before, and this one's buds are gonna crack open soon still love how it makes sure to put the flowers well away from its traps, and how wiggly the spike is

i grew up in the midwest but i'm pretty flexible about learning new words and integrating them into my speech
dialect map with California, Nevada, new mexico, Florida, and Hawaii in burnt sienna. the only cold spot is in the Dakotas and the rest of the upper Midwest.

this thing is so cool! also a death trap jfc i need to design an enclosure of some sort so much exposed power circuitry but it's so cool
a glowing torus of xenon in a glass ball, which is sitting on a coil of insulated wire. this coil goes through a PCB into another PCB which has power circuitry and a barrel power jack. below *that* is a large heatsink 3/4 overhead view of the plasma toroid which is glowing purple and is in the ball at a 45-ish degree angle side view of the plasma toroid. dark the plasma torus has changed into a string of glowing beads when i put multiple fingers on the glass

i had some focus issues because i swapped out filters last-second but here's a few of last night's #eclipse

restacked and reprocessed my photo of the Cygnus star cloud in pixinsight and photoshop. so pretty :3 #astrophotography

i only barely know how to use pixinsight, but goddamn does it deliver North America Nebula and Pelican Nebula in S2-O3, roughly 9 hours integration #astrophotography
