Fish dish tonight! #dinner Butter seared ALDIs salmon filets chopped small & coated in paprika, dill, garlic onion powder, salt & pepper. Mixed with a can of French cut green beans on a bed of oven baked hash browns. Cocktail tomatoes for fresh flavor. No fresh basil tonight but maybe by summer.

✦ On a side note, the lens or effect upon thereof, that created these beautiful halo blurring effects in the background of the ‘Heidi’ (1937) movie is just absolutely stunning & I wish I could take every selfie & future family portrait with it. Just absolutely magical.

Shirley Temple stands in the cutestest little Christmas dress for singing ‘Silent Night’ in with her elbow resting nonchalantly on a piano corner. Her sausage curls & twinkling eyes give beauty to her hope & strength in a scene where she is separated from family but making good memories & Christmas spirit in the luxuriously strange situation she is in.

The background is a blur of the eloquent manner she is residing in; & a large, lavish, freshly cut tree with classic lit candles residing in its branches takes a fifth of the shot. The blurring effect pulls the light of the candles just enough to make the bokeh bow into a circular halo effect around the frame. Heidi’s precious head is backlit by the effect, giving her a soft, innocent, angelic effect.

☆Just finished watching the movie my mother named me after. It’s crazy how much foreshadowing comes from the themes of intuition which waves from birthing a child, no matter how devoid a lady can be of it. Rewatching this beloved favorite of my Grandmother, my Swan Mother, I can only be nostalgic.

✫ Auld Lang Syne is a song my ‘Swan Mother’ & I used to sing every New Years when I was a babe. Every year there would be ‘It’s a Wonder Life’ playing on the tv, & this Christmas I went back to that ritual. This year has been so bearing on my heart & soul, but a visit from George Bailey helps. 🤍

James Stewart stars as George Bailey, the man in center with his wife, played by Donna Reed; Mary Hatch Bailey to the left. George Bailey holds his little girl Zuzu on the right, played by the adorable Karolyn Grimes.

It’s a Wonderful Life (1946) is a black & white film directed by Frank Capra where a man is so devastated by life circumstances always setting him back he almost commits suicide & is saved by a divine intervention by God & the Angels on Christmas Day. It’s a beautiful classic & an annual tear jerker. It’s the movie that keeps me going & shaped my soul as a child growing up.

Not having had an easy beginning in life, but a bold heart, this film taught me to take daring chances when you have them, try to make it through the anxiety when it pools over, & remember that even if you were never born; life would have never been this way this good without soft souls who care here on Earth.

✦ Today my best friend, my Dad, came back to us more consciously after being diagnosed with a small stroke (non-TIA). I’m deeply relieved he is okay & that we can finally solve long term problems with some simple medications. The neurologist considered him lucky, so he may get to come home soon. ⤵️

Look! I found his old High School yearbook photo from 1971!

Picture of an ant being taken over by Ophiocordyceps unilateralis, also known by the name “zombie ant fungus”.

This ant is comparable to the likes of Krazy Kennedy Jr., for he too is being cognitively “disconfigured”, since he shares a symbiotic if not parasitic relationship with his patriotic brethren of viruses.

Cometsong did go to my first solo show earlier this year where someone did play with the jewels and broke the armature. There is a temporary crack that is drying before the last seal.

This is mine, one of my last purchases from Amazon before boycotting. But it’s basically a tiny teapot that goes into one side of the nose as a time to drain out the other to flush your sinuses. 🩵 I used to have chronic sinus infections, but this lil baddie has kept them away for 10 years.
