Today, we just heard that Starbucks is closing 250 locations. When workers take on one of the biggest corporations in the world, they shouldn’t have to do it alone. We’re proud to join workers to #BoycottStarbucks until baristas win a fair union contract.

Yesterday we held the first ever S-x Worker Pride March in Boston. S-x workers are your neighbors, your community members, and your colleagues, and we are proud of who we are! ☂️
A group of about 50 people standing with banners and red umbrellas in front of a brick building with a red awning reading “Jacque’s” and a gay pride flag. The banners, from left to right, read “Save Our Selves,” “Protect Trans Futures,” “Whores Started Pride: Decriminalize Sex Work Now, BSWAC,” and “Sex Worker Pride Boston.”

Thank you, and solidarity forever.
I congratulate Representative Marjorie Decker on winning the election for State Rep in Cambridge. I am profoundly grateful to every voter and volunteer who made our campaign possible.

Although we did not win this election, we built something real. Together, we knocked 54,054 doors. 653 people volunteered. We took on the political establishment and built a movement that could not be ignored. Thousands of neighbors joined conversations about getting ICE out of Mass., getting money out of politics, and delivering a State House that works for everyone. Those relationships and the power people discovered in acting together will endure. We look forward to working with Representative Decker and our community in advancing the commitments made during this election.

This campaign may be ending, but our movement's fight for democracy and transparency continues. Thank you, Cambridge. I love you all, and I look forward to continuing to organize alongside all of you. Solidarity forever!

Cambridge has been crushed by rising costs of housing ever since rent control was outlawed across Massachusetts in 1994, as Massachusetts has not built enough housing throughout our state. The state blocks cities like Cambridge from enacting local solutions to protect renters.

Massachusetts is the last blue state with a voluntary 287(g) agreement with ICE. The PROTECT Act was an important victory, won by immigrants and advocates who spent years pressuring Beacon Hill. But the work isn’t finished. The law leaves a massive loophole that allows this agreement to continue.
