it is as safe, so long as we never go out of our way to do something extremely daft such as going out of our way to create the automation infrastructure necessary. a chatbot cannot build a factory to work without manual labour - the labour is necessary both in construction and maintenance.

even if you make the argument that gAI is a valid form of expression, the stagnation is inescapable. gAI itself depends on the continuance of self-elected expression and artistic craft in order to progress in any meaningful way - it has nothing further to offer than it has already consumed.

but gAI inevitably can only repeat something already once said according to its training data, we can't figure out how to give them minds yet because the tech we use is too linear & procedural. from the start, binary/transistors are an order of magnitude less complex than a multi dimensional neuron.

so there's a kind of reactionary argument made by gAI enthusiasts in answer to "only human made art is meaningful" and it boils down to - well there's a process used to make art, it's just another tool - except techniques exist to communicate ideas and emotions that are otherwise too intangible.

He is laid over a red scratched repair deck with tools and boxes all over him. The yellow box has screwdrivers and a mallet inside it, there's also a BMO sticker on the corner.

In front of the yellow box is a city bag that's been made to have a bunch of spikes and other stuff on it, it also features a deer skull on the flap, alongside a padlock with the key on it.

Digby is reaching out towards a little pond dragon (a mini version of my boyfriend's sona, Dew!) running over to deliver a blue screwdriver.
