"Something ineffable happens when you write down a thought: You think something you did not know you could or would think and it leads you to another thought… the process of writing itself leads to previously unthought thoughts [and] crystallizes half-formulated or unformulated thoughts" - Lynn Hunt

How Writing Leads to Thinking (and Not the Other Way Around) – AHA
Writing is stressful. Sitting in my computer chair my neck and shoulder muscles almost immediately tense up as I dig around in my brain for the best phrase or even any coherent string of words.

Birthright citizenship changes? They portend caste hierarchies that will affect citizens as well. Here is my recent Mother Jones interview: www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

Oh, don't you think it's a miracle that amidst all this pain amidst all this noise sometimes all it takes is a song even a stupid song just a stupid song to remind you who you are to remind you who you are (Brunori Sas)

Colleagues/academic writers: Presses have started sending AI addendums for existing book contracts. Are there options in these situations? What about edited books? Who is consulted in these cases? Can some opt out and others not? Some addendums don't offer such an option. #skyhistorians #AcademicSky
