Of course it's unrealistic but as a fun thought experiment if you imagine hypothetically that all games from all regions, were available and localized worldwide in the 90s with acceptable quality and appropriate sized marketing campaigns, which ones would have had the biggest surprising success.

I did a basic web search and saw that @vgdensetsu.bsky.social posted about this...almost 8 years ago! ...but here in a different version of a Virgin games ad they also call out an upcoming release of Dune Mega CD which ended up never releasing. Wonder if they did any voice recording

Finished Grim Dawn plus all the DLC on Normal and almost bounced out but started again on Elite...too fun to romp around with my pet build. Unfortunately Elite is MUCH harder as to be expected, also feels bad to hit devotion point cap and be midway done with the mega one I wanted to finish.

I booted up Kirby Kira Kira Kids on the Switch 2 earlier and thought I would just be playing for 15 minutes but it must have been an hour and I still didn’t game over (I had to put down a Save Anywhere), seems easy but you can easily end up stacking too many on side if you don’t get the tricks of it
