This is worth a read. One of the core problems of creating and maintaining change is that voters as a group are not particularly willing to reward accomplishments or remember much longer than a news cycle or two. Object permanence for elections would solve a lot of problems.

Not a shock that DHS got key facts re alleged voting fraud completely wrong. The question is why do traditional news outlets often just run with initial press releases from DHS or Trump controlled agencies writ large as if they were legit and feature their framing in headlines, leads?
