I’m right there with you. Reading is such a wonderful escape. Lately I’ve just been so symptomatic that I get into bed and I’m asleep in 5 minutes. Which is an issue because I usually wind down by reading before bed. I hope you and Ellie are doing okay. The heat this summer has been brutal.

Yeah, I made the mistake of asking my rheum if it could be a few things and she wasn’t happy. She completely dismissed my request for specific labs. Turns out when my NP at the long Covid clinic ran them for me I was right the whole time & have autoimmune thyroid disease.😒

Yup, you hit the nail on the head. After I see hematology & make sure something else isnt going on I’m going to try & find a new rheum. My current one is hung up on the label & refusing to do anything. Meanwhile I feel like utter shit & my other providers are the “wtf” every time they see me.

Exactly. Unfortunately my rheum has decided that my issue (Hashimotos) isn’t her problem & that it’s the reason for all of my new debilitating symptoms. Myself & my other providers disagree, but nobody wants to touch me till I see hematology because my cbc came back interesting to put it mildly.

So true. Everyday lately it’s been something new causing me issues. Several of my doctors think I’ve got something else autoimmune going on, buy my rheumatologist is unhelpful to put it mildly. I see hematology next week then I’m going to start looking for a new rheumatologist.
