some readers have managed to get refunds from paypal almost immediately but of course seems dependent on which customer service rep they get. idk if you’ve seen whether authors have managed to have any luck? table fees sounded wildly expensive.

there was a deal that made these roughly half off so I got them to see if I’d like them, and y’all. these books are so heavy they’re kinda getting damaged. I did weigh them and they’re roughly 2 pounds, 10 ounces each. there’s illustrations on almost every other page. the pub did a lot with this.

I still have 70% of the book to go 😩 I am listening to the audiobook at a speed that I might get yelled at if I say, but the narrator reads slower than other narrators I listen to, so is it really speeding it up that much

yeah I’m in a lot of reader groups who don’t like them but because they’re pretty much one of the few events bringing popular authors europe for signings and they ~allegedly~ threaten to ban readers from future events for whatever reason they don’t like, people don’t say much in public 🫠

it’s so interesting to come back to this book after reading nesta’s book that’s in third person POV. feyre and rhysand are way more likable from feyre’s first person POV lol although I really started to sour on these characters in the next book so POV might not have much to do with it.
