Unfortunately, I think that kind of decision making will work out for Trans folks about as well as deciding not to vote for Harris has worked out for the Muslim population. Probably even worse, since they're a much smaller % of the population, so considered an easier target by conservatives.

No, but I also don't think that any Dem candidate would take a stance specifically targeting Trans people. So expand that - If a candidate does not expressly state a pro-Trans stance, nor do they declare an anti-Trans stance, does that automatically disqualify them in your opinion?

Yep, and he's not my top choice in the primary. Many dems now feel the same about him. And which dem candidates support Trans rights. There are several to choose from. But not a single leader on the right supports Trans rights. Is the decision to not vote? Who gains from that?

Nope, not even close to what I said. I just gave one example (of many) of a single issue voter who got what they voted for. No to Kamala helped give us Trump. If Kamala had other stances that they supported they made an ignorant decision. But hey, they made their point, huh?

I live in Michigan. There was a formal boycott of Kamala in the large, majority Muslim Detroit suburb of Dearborn, led by their US Rep, Rachida Tlaib. They chose not to vote. 1 issue voters. Do we think they're happy with the outcome?
