No joke, I normally try to stay away from terms like margin, petioles, midrib, and the like. As I normally lose people or at the very least get a questioning face with glazed eyes. I used this image a bunch for a quick info guide for folks. Helps a little at times

My wisteria I just used a plastic yogurt lid. I’ve also used tennis ball, not recommended (they breakdown to much and you’ll never get all the fuzz out of the roots), block of hardwood like oak work great. Really anything keeping root from going down and adding up pressure to bottom of trunk.

Have you ever tried the coin or washer trick, I know it as the half dollar technique, where you place a large coin / washer / block of wood (really whatever that will hold up) under the roots before putting your final layer of substrate on? I’ve had great results, and quick,with maple ‘nd wisteria

FYI, they have two accounts here on Bluesky and I think a third, one is the similar name in all caps (ALL FOR GARDEN) this one (All for Gardening) and the other is I believe in Chinese. All R same person or bot and none get permission Appreciate that you don’t want to promote these types of actions

Scraper accounts, steals post and reposts them without permission to their website. Block and report them if you haven’t already, these types of plagiarizing accounts shouldn’t be here on Bluesky. It is thrift what they are doing, sucks that people would do this
