We did a #stream for a game called #scorn from #ebb-software, it was a #kickstarter project, released just about 4 years ago to critical acclaim. Although I share in some of the complaints that critics and gamers lobbed at it, I think Scorn is a remarkable artistic achievement as a videogame.

#thecatlady has been cleared, what a special game it was. I have a couple points of criticism but I'll keep those cards close to my chest for now, none of it really detracts from my overall experience. I'll look forward to exploring the sequels to that game at a later date.

So #MetroidRavenous is a thing now, this #Mercurysteam timeline is very good. I'm not complaining at all that we're leaning heavily in the action combat direction, though i hope it doesn't take too much away from the isolating exploration aspect, lorehounds be damned.

The Cat Lady is raw, unpolished, and uncompromising. I look forward to streaming it more, oh so very much. This is definitely a game for #psychological #horror enjoyers. Just be aware that this game contains themes of #suicide, #exploitation, #abuse, #murder, #depression, and probably a lot more.

I experienced a great loss in the family recently, which makes some of this oretty hard to go through, but this work of art really suits my tastes, so I'm compelled to stay. I feel strongly that the game isn't being cheap about its subject matter either, I dunno how others feel about it.

Everything about the presentation brings me back to early 2000's era of flash-games and questionable style choices among my peers, which was predominantly moody teens, but I say it with all due endearment. I've missed this kind of mood, none of that should be seen as a point against the game.

It's an adventure game with a suicidal protagonist, I got a cold open into the moment of her demise, and things got weird very quick. The mood is heavy, game is dense with voiced dialogue and striking art, and then there's a lot of wild music that threw me off a number of times for the better-

Fromsoft's cutscene direction is so hyperspecific too, so thoughtfully considered and delicate. I doubt I'll even get a Whit of that in this anime thing when the only place I've seen this kind of direction outside of #Fromsoft works is #blasphemous Just my 2-cents.

There's something to be said For the stoic severity of the art in the game that is lost in translation imo. Maybe I'll change my mind when I've seen the completed movie thing, but I think on the surface I woulda preferred the pre-rendered cutscenes we get in game but as a film.
