Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 30/11/2025Yee!! Lyle's apartment already looks like a hot mess, this guy's probably been through it for Some Time 010 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 29/11/2025I know I'm late to the #LookOutside fandom, but do you think #Lyle dropped his key in the corridor because bro got chased by the grinning beast once already? Bro seems pretty fucking spooked by #Leigh (altho i do not blame him for that under any circumstances-) 130 0

Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 19/11/2025So is it just me or does Lyle remind a little of a slug on top of the spider thing... 030 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 19/11/2025Thinking about how Lyle tries to take pictures of everyone in the apartment cus he wants to keep his friends with him if they die... Also wondering if the ones on his back are friends, "friends", who have already died and he basically grieved all over when they burned #lookoutsidelyle #lookoutside 060 0

Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025"Promise" is such a nice ending *Reads what happens, or rather, doesn't happen, to Lyle* Yo wtf wth what what the fuck 130 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025Also me talking as if anybody is gonna read that stuff when I've been deep in hellahell for so long only to show up like Look Outside y'all 030 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025Also also if you find this rambly welcome to hell this is me on Tumblr... 030 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025Quick addition: Obviously I'm not asking people who find stalking deeply deeply unsettling or have a history of it or trauma related to it to go out of their way to delve into this storyline, I wouldn't do this for my own triggers. I hope that goes without saying but just in case.. 110 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025You don't HAVE to take that hand, the game doesn't force you... I'm just saying, the world is literally ending. People are doing their best to stay sane. Lyle as well. 120 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025Is it pretty? No. Nobody's corruption in this game is. But the core idea of this game, is extending a hand to those who are fighting their own minds in this madness. No matter how unpleasant, someone needs you, and they CAN be saved. They CAN win over this corruption. But. It's gonna be ugly. 120 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025And Lyle isn't the only one whose mind got warped by the Visitor. Whose ID and Ego (we don't support Freud in this house but it's a fun STORY TOOL) got separated and struggle with keeping their ugly side from blossoming into a grotesque bloom. He doesn't kill people left and right. He grows obsessed 120 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025Idk I just love everything about the writing surrounding Lyle, and I think the people who declare him a monster and "kill him every time", I just.... I'm not Asking you to forgive a stalker. I'm asking for some media literacy. First time? Sure, I get it. But people are complex.. 120 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025Like the soul stealing photography thing makes so much sense. Combined with the voyeuristic nature of a camera... I don't think he was full on stalking Sam until the corruption took hold. He is so deep into the soul stealing when he does it to you, but when he faces it in Mazes & Wizards? 120 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025Bro could die on the floor and go Hey I am dying if it's not too much trouble could you maybe perhaps help me? I'm fine tho so don't go out of your wa-⚰️ 120 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025He's known as the Shut In, the Jumpy Neighbour. He's genuinely surprised when people care to even say hello. He stutters and stumbles over every damn conversation he has. He apologises when there's no need to do so. He can't even ask for bandaids or antidotes without being like Y'know, if it's okay 120 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025Perhaps a fear of losing connection. The struggle to create them in the first place because of anxiety and bad experiences. He was so surprised when Eugene said hello to him, when Sam recognised him from the store. He sees a lot of people, but he can't reach out to them. 120 0
Bon @bonbonbear.bsky.social · 17/11/2025I just love seeing the trail of how a character like Lyle got corrupted by the Visitor... I am a DM, I know how caught up in your role you can get, ESPECIALLY with the bad guy cus it's the Big Center Of It All and you want to do them so Well. His love for photography, and Zalmoxis' soul trapping... 141 0

I'm not necessarily a big Lyle fan, but I'm waaaay better off drawing bug monsters than trying to style-translate human characters... plus, this little moment really impressed me with how the sound designers could make camera noises come across as sad. 28925 0
