This spring, exhausted with work stress, I chose to take a break and grow things. I grew 8 leaves, 12 herbs, and 2 tomato varieties, all from heirloom (pre-WWII) seeds. Everything was grown in chemical fertilizer and pesticide free soil, with a little vermicompost. It has been amazing.
