James Maxwell-Smith @bobsynthesis.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Trying to learn this song and even though the chords are easy, I find Bill's phrasing really hard to follow. But it's one of the things that makes it and Bill's other songs brilliant.youtu.beSmog - Feather By FeatherYouTube video by I. Zurutuza 000

James Maxwell-Smith @bobsynthesis.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Joanna Newsom's Have One On Me has been sitting in my record collection for years and I have never got my head around it. It never grabbed me. Maybe one day... 001
James Maxwell-Smith @bobsynthesis.bsky.social · 23/08/2026If this list is chronological, as time has gone on it's telling how I've lost touch with film. Even though so much more is available to me than ever. Ditto with music. I need to start buying magazines again. The internet has done me no good with this stuff in general. 030
James Maxwell-Smith @bobsynthesis.bsky.social · 08/08/2026Totally agree. I really would want another 0delay or even a Guero, but if the quality isn't there I'd rather he'd just do sad Beck 000

James Maxwell-Smith @bobsynthesis.bsky.social · 26/07/2026I enjoyed this earlier on Fip, but I'm not a house aficionado. Is this deep house? Can anyone recommend some compilations with this sort of music on it. Fyi, my favourite dance music album is Super Discount.
