Here are the arrangements that I got to see Professor Mikako Arashi make. The speed and percussion of a master was shocking! #ikebana #shoka #rikka #freestyle

My arrangements from the workshop along with other classmates of mine who traveled to it as well #ikebana #shoka

A shoka shimputai arrangement. The second one I've made to this date. Was very hard for me cuz I wanted to make it like a shofutai one.

The lineup of everyone's shoka shimputai arrangements from the classes I go to

My shoka shofutai arrangement. This felt much better to do but the visiting sensei still had to make some adjustments on it

There are ones that were a YES THIS MUST BE INCLUDED and then some were I debated over it vs another show. Yu Yu Hakusho was the one that started it all and is still my biggest influence.

My 9 Animes - The 9 Anime that Shaped Who I Am. Starting from the top left: Yu Yu Hakusho, Kemonozume, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Princess Tutu, Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, Boogiepop Phantom (a comfort series of mine that I will rewatch often), Paranoia Agent, FLCL (very much shaped my sense of humor), and Last Exile (the first anime that made me cry).

it's #makeaterriblecomicday today and all I can think about is the beach

A 4-panel black and white comic. The first panel is of me drawing this with the words, "It's a usual Wednesday at work today," above and some text that say, "LOUD BUG NOISES OUTSIDE," "AC BLOWING CONSTANTLY," and, "sitting on exercise ball." The second panel has me heads down groaning in front of my work monitors. The text says, "I'd rather not be here." Third panel is blank except for the text, "No, I'd rather be..." Fourth panel is of me standing in the waves of some beach. The text says, "at the BEACH~"

Yo! Going to be participating in Art Fight again this year with the caveat that work has been hella busy. I'm not sure how many I'll be able to do this time around. #artfight #artfight2026

Read the first vol of Dogsred thanks to the local library and was very surprised to see a research list at the end of it. I never read the manga for Golden Kamuy so I don't know if Noda does it there as well (if so, that's really cool!!). But yeah, haven't ever seen this before in a manga!

The back page of Dogsred vol 1 that lists all the research Satoru Noda did for the series

Got to try out a new style yesterday! It's a shoka shimputai~ Technically, a sunflower shouldn't be paired with peach blossoms but this is just practice. #ikebana #shoka #shimputai

Got another one spotted on page 91. It should say, "Storyboards by Jenn Doyle, layouts by Jett Vault."

The top of the page has the original text covered with white out. On top is the proper credits.

Side note, as everyone was laid off by the time the book was getting worked on, there wasn't much proof checking, so there might be multiple errors (one was calling Cas Vincent "Chansard Vincent" on pg 43).

A page from the artbook that says, "Storyboards by Chance Kubesh and Chansard Vincent." Chansard is crossed out and replaced by "Cas". This can be found on page 43 of the artbook.

Each one must be rotated to a cardinal direction to open a door. Kurama will continually fuck over players because the right finger used is not as clear as the others. Bad game design, they will cry.

Sugar Cookie enjoying the fire last night

Also she was such a character. She had very distinct stare that would make us all laugh so much that this picture of it had become a discord emoji. Shuri is judging you and is a little disappointed. (in reality she was just curious as to what any of us were doing)

The famous picture of Shuri among the house. She is curled up on top of a 6 foot tall cat tower and has her head cocked to the side. Two green eyes are staring straight at you, wide and inquisitive. She would do this all the time, especially when I wasn't home. A roommate would come into my bedroom to check on her and this was what they'd get greeted with. Same if someone was babysitting her while we were all away. The iconic Shuri pose.

Bobo Kitty @bobokitty.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

These six and a half years I spent with her were so full of love. There is a hole left by her in my heart, but I take that pain to use it to remember how much she meant to me. She was destined to die in that car but instead she got to live over six pampered years. I will always love her.

This was a trap. She'd look at you so cute like this and the moment you came over, ATTACK!

There were rare moments when Shuri and Sugar Cookie laid next to each other. This one was so cute because they're doing the same pose but mirrored.

Shuri always loved to lay on top of me, and when I called her name, she would look up with her big eyes.

Bobo Kitty @bobokitty.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

Thank you all for your kind words. Collecting all her photos really reminded me of just how happy Shuri was. She was named after the character from Black Panther because when we found her inside my sister's car engine, only she had enough strength left to meow and save her and her siblings.

Shuri is the kitten on top with her mouth open. She was all black at the time save for a spot on her head that we thought was a dirt spot.

Shuri was a lively kitten and easily accepted me as her mom, which meant all the play fighting.

And after she used up her energy, Shuri would pass out on top of me, like in this photo. She left this world in the same pose.
