#auspol #AgedCare Hoo Rae, Old news but Aged Care Support at Home waiting lists were eventually shortened after pressure on govt to fix them. Now typically need to wait only about 10 months for interim funding at 60% of entitlement, then wait another period for the remainder. Too late for some.

Image referring to the govts claim of shorter waiting lists for aged care Support at Home. Some elders still die waiting for support.

Hi from Bambi and Bella. Much too hot to venture outside today so we are relaxing inside near the aircon. (45 degrees C = 113 degrees F)

2 cats, Bambi and Bella, relaxing inside near the aircon on a 45 degrees C day.

#Caturday The perils facing cats outdoors. This is Bambi (aka "Her Royal Heaviness", aged 6 shown with a 12 x 1 cm twig that was found almost fully embedded under her belly skin today (thankfully no blood). She had escaped outside, climbed onto the roof, and jumped into a tree.

Beautiful! Bambi is comfortable too. Resting on a warm car roof in the sun after a leash walk with me outdoors and now expecting a treat reward. (The other side of her collar tag reads "SPOILT").

I built a "Morgan" 3D printer several years ago. Rather odd rotary design but it worked well after a bit of tweaking. Eventually sold it as the initial fascination wore off after I realized how much valuable time I needed to devote to designing & printing stuff.

The only photo I have found is so far is of the back of the completed TV. PAL decoder (about 14" x 12") above, IF strip below. Neck of 26" pic tube at right. All boards single-sided fibreglass. All thru-hole components so lots of holes to drill. Parts imported to AU from UK. All coils hand-wound.

Main electronics of my Australian home built 26" colour TV receiver circa 1972.

Speaking of collars, I took one of my cats, Bella, for a walk on leash yesterday which she thoroughly enjoyed. When we came back inside I dropped the leash & it got caught under a table leg prompting her to reverse right out of it leaving the clips intact, proving that cats are indeed liquid...
