Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Off to see Cory Hanson at Stereo tonight. Must have been 2019 last time I saw him play with Wand at Mono. Got this ticket over a year ago when it was supposed to be The Flying Duck! 110
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Really enjoyed Widow’s Bay excellent telly. Creepy and funny with so many great performances. Spent most of it thinking it needs to just be a one and done but now think they’ve set it up nicely for the second series. 210
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Encouraging 2nd half from Scotland and should have won. Need to find a goalscorer from somewhere! 170
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Superb gig from Man/Woman/Chainsaw at Tuts. The cover of Cannonball a wee bonus. Such an amazing and varied set of songs already. Seeing them again at the Art School next year. 110
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 24/09/2026When you need someone to score and they’ve brought on a character from the Star Wars prequels 141
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Sinisalo awful at the goal. Has a clear look at the shot coming on. Could probably catch it but needs to just push it wide. Anything except what he did. 020
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Not far off the team I’d have picked. Although I wouldn’t have had McCowan anywhere near it! Nygren playing off the striker will hopefully suit him. Still nowhere near confident though. 341
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Issues throughout the team but while Hassan obviously has some talent his point blank refusal to sprint (or even jog quickly) back the way isn’t going to endear him to any manager. 070
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Team has a bit more balance about it overall and seems more like players in their best positions and not just trying to shoehorn all our “best” players in but the downside of that is at first glance there doesn’t seem to be a huge amount of goals in the lineup. 110
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Abysmal performance. Not signing a midfielder who can dominate a game is going to come back to bite us against any even remotely competent opposition 1182
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Good win if not a good performance. Johnstone showed up well. Baur settling in now and Donovan an upgrade on Ralston. A win, a clean sheet and a few players rested. 3100
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Poor stuff so far. All very pedestrian and defence look like they are always on the edge of making a mistake. Cracking save from Johnstone. 080
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Felt we would maybe see a few changes tonight. Good to see Hogh back and Sorensen get a start. Interesting to see how Johnstone does. 130
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 06/09/2026Going to be interesting to see the first Scotland squad under Pocognoli. There are likely to be at least 11 places opened up from the World Cup squad (hopefully 1 more as would love KT to step back from it). Lots of players who could be called up and may try to get Hackney and Gray to commit. 420
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 06/09/2026More VAR confusion last night. Leaving aside the questionable lines for the Duran one the process followed for Mheuka seems to have been incorrect with a precedent here. www.espn.co.uk/football/sto... 1125
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Not a perfect performance by any means but a great win. Think that’s 12 league wins in a row now? St Mirren played some nice stuff. Good mix of physicality and decent football. 180
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Sky should just run an apology for bad language on a ticker along the bottom of the screen at every St Mirren home game they show. It’s a mystery why the sweariest man in Paisley is still allowed in the ground. Imagine taking your kids to the game and being stuck beside that lunatic? 0141
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Good win that. Felt we played ok generally. Couple of “tight” offside decisions. Think Mheuka was probably just off but the way they arrived at the decision was farcical and he seem nothing that shows Duran was offside for the first 040
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 05/09/2026We have a lot of midfielders now. We need to try to find the right balance. AOC has played well the last two games but Sorensen might be a better option to bring on given the game state 000
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Scales running out like Liam Gallagher and then going all Al Jolson is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen 170
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Excellent stuff. Love the tactic of leaving Duran and Hassan up front when defending a corner. Really gives the opposition something to think about. Duran is a star. Hopefully comfortable enough now to see Mhueka and Sorensen get some game time 061
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 02/09/2026“Let that be a lesson to you all: nobody bids for Gvidas Gineitis 17 times in a row” 100
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Chelsea will buy him off Brighton at half time 110
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 27/08/2026At least we always have them to laugh at. A bad night for the co-efficient but on a positive note this means more time on the training pitch for Derek McInnes with his team. 080
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 26/08/2026Worst thing about last night was how predictable it was and how as soon they went 2-1 up early in the second half the outcome seemed inevitable. Lack of strength in depth in every position left us woefully short. Incredible how we haven’t learned lessons from years of failure at this stage. 250
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 25/08/2026Pathetic stuff. Squad shown up for what it is. 071
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 25/08/2026Very sad news about Dolly Parton, words like legendary and iconic are thrown around too much. Whatever “it” was. She had it in spades. And on top of the talent she seemed like an amazing person. RIP 0110
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Elanga’s goal reminded me of Agathe away to Ajax 030
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Paddy Power will be paying out on Arsenal the way things are going 010
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 22/08/2026Very much enjoying The Womack Sisters album. Short on surprises and it sounds exactly like you would expect but the songs and vocals are superb. 220
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Enjoyed that. Will be a tough match over there but we’ve put ourselves in a brilliant position. Nygren and Donovan’s best games for us. Duran was sensational. Hogh was very important though, great to have that focal point to the attack. 1131
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Duran might be like Daizen with football intelligence 👀 😂 😱 080
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 19/08/2026That’ll do. Two sensational strikes. Really like Duran in that position. Not a classic winger but definite Scott Sinclair vibes. Nygren putting in a great shift and some great moments from Donovan too. Definitely rode our luck at times but good to see the offside trap working well 😱 😂 180
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 15/08/2026Rangers fans are starting a “not another Penrice” campaign. 051
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 15/08/2026Good win. Duran’s workrate in the late few minutes when 4-0 up was very impressive and reminiscent of someone else 👀😂 Nygren will be Scottish POTY this season if he stays. He will be better with better players. 1173
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 14/08/2026This absolute dunce thinks the player’s name is Portland Timbers 😂 5203
Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Tremendous results from Motherwell and Hibs tonight. They both face really tough ties in the next round. Be brilliant if one of them could get through. 0110

Stevie Jackson @bobbyperu1975.bsky.social · 09/08/2026Great to see so much love for Paul Heaton after the BBC2 thing last night. A great songwriter and one of the god guys. 2151
