Charged 50% of my Tesla last night for the cost of one litre of diesel. Price of fuel is crazy.

Those are nice cameras, maybe a touch out of my price range

I want to get out of the habit of relying on my phone for everything... piece by piece I want to reclaim gadgetry. Firstly a camera, I need recommendations for something that has wireless connectivity, pocket sized, budget friendly with good quality photos

Designers and engineers are using AI to create software for people who in turn are using AI to avoid using software

Via the suggestion of his wean at the city group, same reason we ended up with Deila, not through some high standard or indeed normal hiring process. Lawwell was the epitome of cronyism and nepotism

The issue is we’re stuck in a cycle of hiring poorly because the decision makers are apparently untouchable. They’ll continue making these kinds of appointments, continue to mess up transfer windows and continue to ignore infrastructure and any kind of short, medium or long term strategy

Bobby Anderson @bobbyanderson.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Looks brilliant, I’m glad it’s more than just a remake

The mid life crisis tour continues this week, celebrating my 21x2 birthday in Ibiza 2 nights back to back at Ushuaia and UNVRS. I'll be the one in the middle dancing in the sea of meat tripods.

Hopefully it's a sign we're actively looking to have almost like for like replacements from the bench rather than the massive drop off we've seen become apparent over the years

Bobby Anderson @bobbyanderson.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

I think the difference comes down to who the board wants to sign at times rather than who the scouts recommend. We went for nothing but the cheap option, maybe a hangover from Tisdale's excel spreadsheet of garbage

More Daft Punk inspired interactions on the new site, my RAD logo gets all funky on scroll

Two guesses as to whether or not I've been listening to Daft Punk - Discovery today

The biggest disappointment about not qualifying for the UCL is how it effects us domestically and having to play every other Sunday instead

His level totally dropped at the same time most of the team did after that Bayern tie and he's never recovered, a few glimpses here and there but not enough. If he gets a move to a top 5 league it's not at the top end of the table thats for sure. Engels didn't even get a move to a top 5 league.

He's right though, they were 32/36 in the league phase last year and have a worse squad than last year They're in much the same predicament we've been in for a while, definitely not getting value for money from signings or for wages

Steven Naismith is now odds on to replace Steve Clarke as Scotland manager, this happens in the same week that the SFA announce that they want to hold a "critically important" summit with a view to player development and strategic reform. Strategic reform and Naismith? That can't be right

Really enjoyed #WidowsBay on #AppleTV, from the trailer it looked like it was going to be a horror but having finished season 1 it’s a great mystery thriller with a fair dose of comedy - some similarities to Lost

Just another example of the nepotism and cronyism that’s rife in Scottish football

000

Bobby Anderson @bobbyanderson.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

It's a rigged system. The big leagues get more spots and their clubs are guaranteed to get further as they're protected against playing either similarly ranked teams or teams from their own country. It keeps the big leagues and big clubs bigger and the smaller ones at arms length.

Bobby Anderson @bobbyanderson.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

Ultimately this is a football problem not confined to the European competitions. 99% of competitions will be won by the team with higher budgets - the issue is the seeding systems that ensures these teams have a higher chance of progressing and ergo winning more prize money.

Comparing potential #CelticFC target Jakob #Breum against current wingers Yang and Tounekti with ScoutIQ. In general, much of a muchness but Breum stands out from an attacking perspective, higher G+A/90, shot accuracy and KP/90. @celticfc.bsky.social
