Charged 50% of my Tesla last night for the cost of one litre of diesel. Price of fuel is crazy.

I want to get out of the habit of relying on my phone for everything... piece by piece I want to reclaim gadgetry. Firstly a camera, I need recommendations for something that has wireless connectivity, pocket sized, budget friendly with good quality photos

Designers and engineers are using AI to create software for people who in turn are using AI to avoid using software

The mid life crisis tour continues this week, celebrating my 21x2 birthday in Ibiza 2 nights back to back at Ushuaia and UNVRS. I'll be the one in the middle dancing in the sea of meat tripods.

Two guesses as to whether or not I've been listening to Daft Punk - Discovery today

New AirPods coming with cameras in September I wish tech companies would look beyond adding cameras to everything for innovation

Steven Naismith is now odds on to replace Steve Clarke as Scotland manager, this happens in the same week that the SFA announce that they want to hold a "critically important" summit with a view to player development and strategic reform. Strategic reform and Naismith? That can't be right

This is about as good as the eclipse got for us in Stirling, can always rely on thick cloud cover in Scotland

Really enjoyed #WidowsBay on #AppleTV, from the trailer it looked like it was going to be a horror but having finished season 1 it’s a great mystery thriller with a fair dose of comedy - some similarities to Lost

Can anyone explain why they designed the rear of the #Ferrari #Luxe to look like it's giving birth to a 360 Modena?

Comparing potential #CelticFC target Jakob #Breum against current wingers Yang and Tounekti with ScoutIQ. In general, much of a muchness but Breum stands out from an attacking perspective, higher G+A/90, shot accuracy and KP/90. @celticfc.bsky.social

A quick demo of the football scouting / data analytics platform that I have spun up in Claude over the last few months. A little passion project, this is ScoutIQ. #Scout #Football #VibeCoding #Claude #ClaudeCode #Vibe #Coding #Data #Analytics #productdesign

The football scouting product that I've been quietly 'vibe' coding away in the background is ready as a proof of concept. If anyone fancies having a play with it, give me a shout and I'll send on the details

Imagine sending out job application rejections over the weekend 😂

Got my product designer hat on at the minute. I can not get a job in the market for love nor money, I'm very grateful to have repeat freelance clients but even when I have people recommend me for jobs, I can't get an interview. Is it because I'm old (42)? Too long self employed? What's happening?

I don't know what happened to Spotlight search or when, but its fucking shite

AI will have a profound impact on design and engineering jobs but if I can max out my Pro plan session usage in Claude after 4 prompts it's not going to replace anything in the long run

It’s amazing how many different variations of this Celtic turn up from half to half, we can be good, decent, indifferent and awful in prolonged spells over the course of 90 minutes. Fills me with equal amounts of confidence and dread for the remainder of the season.

000

Bobby Anderson @bobbyanderson.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

Celtic haven’t put together 2 halves of decent football in close to 16 months. This decline has been obvious to anyone with a pair of eyes, the club is a mess

Final day of my Easter football camp today, it’s been my biggest camp to date and I’m very humbled to be able to put these sessions on for the kids. Very much looking forward to the next one ⚽️

Material Design is a thoroughly unenjoyable design system to work with

I'm building a new data driven football scouting app using my own proprietary scoring. It ranks scoring, defending, potential growth, estimated values and a confidence score in that value and availability. Still tweaking these as I gather more data. Tony Bloom eat your heart out.

Dipping my toes into vibe creation culture with Stitch from Google. For anyone who has worked in design or alongside decent designers, this output is hobby level pre-junior design. Despite putting together a 'design system' the number of inconsistencies from screen to screen is offensive.

Someone should tell Bodo/Glimt that there’s a financial landscape in European football they can’t compete with. Where’s Ross Desmond when you need him?

This is a great signing for Celtic, AOC has played at an extremely high level for the majority of his career - you can’t do that without being a quality player. Looking forward to seeing what he can bring to the team x.com/FabrizioRoma...
