Deaths for witchcraft were more usually hanging or strangulation. The burnings were for heresy and often done after the death inflicted for witchcraft. I understand there's a few pockets where being burned at the stake *was* for witches, but they aren't the norm.

I think they are ignorant to what home cooked food really can be like. When I was single & working full time, (& I don't really enjoy cooking), I could still poach an egg, steam some veg and toast some sourdough, put things on a baked potato and eat a salad. Boil pasta, grate cheese.

Look, I'm not caping for AI. I refuse it wherever it is offered, I don't use LLMs, I'm an artist who is very much against image and sound generation too. But as we've seen with trump and musk, it takes more than just 'technically could be done' to actually make these people accountable.

I just want to enjoy the creamy, salty goodness but no. Mouldy. Mind you, salmon tastes mouldy to me too. 😭 Thank the gods I still get to enjoy chocolate and non mouldy cheeses.

This has always been my concern. You're either morally injuring innocents OR fulfilling murder fantasies of somebody who should not be being rewarded for their mental illness/maladjustment. Anybody who wants to do that job is not to be trusted in society. It's not necessary, so there's no reason.

I think they see sickness as a tool to eat up the cloth of society from the bottom in the hopes of cleansing it, absolutely. They also think wealth is a moral imperative they can live off once the chaff is removed. Humanity is so much more though. It's gonna destroy them one day.

A familiar is a magical working partner with whom you have an understanding and connection. While they may help one to work with other realms, they are usually corporeal as far as I know. I think that's the only modern Western tradition around animals that I trust not to be... An appropriation.

I don't understand why more healthier bodies and minds isn't seen as a win all round, honestly. Preventable and treatable illnesses swimming around unnecessarily don't make economic sense to me.

Not in mine, thank you. It's one of my life's greatest sorrows that I was not given the 'ooh delicious fish!' gene. Fish pie looks so damn good, but I can do tinned tuna, your basic chippie tea, fish fingers, and, oddly, rollmop herring, but the good stuff I just don't like 😭

I quite like in-season asparagus and broccoli in my cauli cheese, though the asparagus needs steaming and throwing on top at the last minute...
