i rewatched GOSFORD PARK (2001) yesterday and it’s still amazing! but this is the film that Helen Mirren should have won her Oscar for! her last scene is absolutely devastating and i get chills every time i see it

idk if anyone else can relate but have you ever watched a movie so good that it makes everything else you watch after seem lackluster? i keep starting movies and stopping them almost immediately bc they’re not Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale… like if i could watch that movie every single day 😭

a photo of a man (Hugh Bonneville in DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE) is in a tan colored suit and a hat. he’s walking in a field with sheep behind him, farther in the background you can see a manor (Downton Abbey). written above the man in a white type is: Mentally I'm here.

“I didn’t agree with much that he said” so what you’re saying is you agreed with some of the things he said? “he was interesting” so what exactly was “interesting” about his hateful rhetoric?

just so we’re clear the CEO of this app is telling people they can gtfo for being upset that they’re banning people for calling a nazi a nazi and not being upset he died lmao okay 👍🏼

You're getting a clear X-ray of America right now. Look at who this country's powerful institutions choose to elevate, venerate, and celebrate. Look at the double standards. Look at the people who adore Charlie Kirk - then spend five minutes reviewing his hateful legacy. This is America.
