Oh, I did my very best here with descriptive words and almost absent food knowledge. 😅

Apparently I'm on strike from tomorrow. So I'm doing picket duty for 6 hours a day the rest of the week. My own views about the strike and the reasons behind it are irrelevant, as I'm a member of a union and they're on strike. But it's legitimate to not be thrilled about this.

Thanks so much for the help! 😀 Bleeding done the correct way, with activating the DSC pump and the ABS pump.

I don't even know why I kept this magazine, it was way before 9/11 that I found this. I have a recollection of being intrigued by the skyscrapers.

Cool! They did some pretty cool stuff. When I say "they", I'm talking about him and the drummer Joe Morello.

That's such a great plant. ☘️ It's always been very dark green and happy, but I've never seen it with 4 flowers before. 😀

These are very special bolts, you know. I've only encountered M7 on.. yeah.. GSX-R 750 Slingshot valve cover, my old Opel and the AC Schnitzer wheels. Btw, I might already have told you this. 🤔😅

My project for this spring, hopefully they'll be ready for the season. 😀 18" AC Schnitzer Type 2 Racing wheels. Restored and remade to 8.5 and 9.5" width, which was the option for the E39. Looking forward to seeing them on the car. #BMWE39 #E39 #ACSCHNITZER #535i

minimize the number of miles driven with it before that job's done. The first drive this year will be up to Bud, the first weekend of June. So for now, we can only enjoy pictures of it from last year.

It's now mid-April, but this year the 535i will stay in winter storage a little longer than usual. The last years I've used it for a vacation to Denmark the first weekend of May, but this year we'll use the F10. The plan is to do the timing chains this year, and maybe (cont.) #BMWE39 #E39 #535i

😅 I thought V12 diesel was good enough. 😅 Fact is, I don't really know much about them. It's a Caterpillar engine, but Cargo Net lease these locomotives. So except from full Dual Mode operation, it's hard to find any specs, as they're modular and very customizable upon operator specifications.

Look at the northern lights @jtsveigdalen.bsky.social and I saw last night. Disclaimer: this picture was taken with a 5 second exposure time. To the bare eye, only the green flowing waves were visible, but the long exposure time caught some other interesting colors too. 😀

Yeah, my only knowledge of the Kool aid man was of a jar with limbs and a face, containing red drinkable stuff, bursting through a wall in ancient commercials. So I also assumed that a wrestler breaking through a wall was a product of that same era. 😅

That was such a disappointment. 😥 But it was my own fault, I didn't read the description good enough. "Language: French". Despite being sold by an eBay store in the UK. But.. 5 minutes after opening it, my English copy was ordered. 😀

Last week, I drove the 535i up to its winter storage location, and on the way up there, I took the back roads. And along these roads I know that there are some good scenery. And that day, with the skies and the background, I took what I believe to be the best picture I've ever taken of the 535i.
A BMW E39 parked on a field, with hills and partly lit up clouds in the background.

I remember some years ago when I saw a little insect on my wall. I thought it had a weird shape, so I took a picture and magnified it. And it had arms with pincers, just like a tiny scorpion. 🦂 But it didn't have the tail. Turns out this is a pseudo scorpion. Never seen one since. #pseudoscorpions

So I watched a YouTube video the other day about some specific events that took place from 1958 to 1962. And I've realized that AI and autogenerated narrator voices on YouTube videos has become good. So good that I didn't even catch that this was an artificial voice until the voice said: 1/

plus he held a grudge against Dyatlov. Btw, the jumping fuel rod caps didn't happen either. I've never understood how that could be true. And that also seems to be a "good story" from his book. Perevozchenko could *not* see this and then make it back to Control Room 4 before the reactor blew up. 😬

She claims to be totally unknowledgeable, but when I travelled from the US back in the days, she claimed to have "seen me land" 15 minutes too late. Ok, how? I asked. Well, she had figured out that Text-TV had their own page for international flight arrivals and their landing time. 😅

Yes! I read up on it today, actually, and was a little surprised. It seems like it took up to the E-model before the plane was fully capable and effective. It seems like shortages of engines also was a factor.
