Access to safe, clean drinking water is a necessity, not a luxury. Yet, EPA is considering rolling back more safety standards that protect people from cancer-causing PFAS, known as ‘forever chemicals.’ It's shameful. I stood with advocates to fight this move and protect our drinking water.

It's an enormous relief that no one was hurt in this fire, but the emergency responders and surrounding communities now face the impacts of exposure to the highly-toxic fumes and runoff produced by this facility-destroying fire. Plastic recycling is not the solution.
