No worries! It’s completely understandable kinda assumed it since there was no hint of it in the trailers. Having the gecko going around its little floating island, frankly already does a lot! (For me at least)

Daily bunny no.3109's seafaring days are behind him

A bunny, dressed like a sea captain, smokes a pipe as he sits on the roof of his tavern in a town by the sea. The tavern is called "The Birb & Bun", and there are a few seagulls on the roof with him, relaxing. At the entrance to the tavern, younger sailor bunnies are on shore leave.

The game feels cozy, and maybe it works... maybe i haven't played enough but i haven't fallen in the perfectionist traps this type of games sometimes led me to because OPTIMIZE, Mistpaw Ravine at least in the stage im in, i feel i don't need to have everything perfect and that i have time

About the setting, I like how this game handles the more threatening elements of the environment while tying it to the story but not making it a survival game, still, there are enough mechanics in game that encourage and rewards me if i put measures and prepare for it.

Who doesn't want cute cats flying in brooms?? its PEAK. The fact that it's a 2D-3D is genius, i love how zooming to the top it feels regular 2D but i love zooming in and feeling the layers and elements overlaying which gives it a sense of depth, and let's me focus on the cat animations.

How it all started: And how it is going: I have a love/hate relationship with city builders/sims... so i was surprised to end up sinking like 2hrs without barely noticing it in this game, it feels extremely polished. Love the art style, and the atmosphere i felt very immersed in it. And the premise?

I don't know if there are plan to add some sort of decor options to the island, (i simply like decorating stuff) but that wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, just curious. And i hope this isn't too rambly... I really wanted to leave a revew/feedback. Also it made me very happy to read your reply. <3

catch some attention. I've definitely talked about it to my friends, and as the demo keeps being available i plan to keep using it. I love the options of customizing your gecko, and adopting a new one. I've already seen there are different islands and colors in the trailer so that's very exciting.

Congruent Blyb v2.4.01 Moss.fluxOS @blybmoss.bsky.social · 16/10/2025

further along the lines if the team feels like it. But what its shown in the demo, that i assume is the core gameplay loop, it personally fit my needs quite a lot. There has been a surge of these type of games (which i personally appreciate a lot) so i hope, pocket gecko can manage to

110

Congruent Blyb v2.4.01 Moss.fluxOS @blybmoss.bsky.social · 16/10/2025

more importantly: i can interact with my gecko and reacts to cuddles or cursor and that helps a lot in terms of companionship and feeling i have a buddy next to me. The bug collecting was "basic" but for me it didn't detract from the experience and it's a feature i believe it could be expanded upon

Congruent Blyb v2.4.01 Moss.fluxOS @blybmoss.bsky.social · 16/10/2025

some game features that makes it entertaining to have it on the side without requiring too much attention. I love idle/inactivity/desktop games, my adhd brains craves from them, and at least for me, pocket gecko really hits a sweet spot of not being too "gamy" but i can still play,

Good luck for these last dev milestones. Not currently a game dev, but i have some experience (art school + game design) so i have an idea how stressful it can get plus the stakes of making it viable. Please take care of yourselves during this time. The game is very unique, it's companion but it has

This is a fascinating tiny fungi that has been discovered in the past couple of years by Eric Cho in Taoyuan, Taiwan. #fungi #nature #wildlife #taiwan
