a work in progress piece

Lady Justice, wearing a long wrapped dressed and blindfold. She is holding her scale but missing her sword and stands on a pyre pitch. Fire burns through the wood around her, climbing towards where she stands. The flames are casting an orange and red glow into the dark background. Lady Justice stands on her pyre, tears carved down her face, her appearance having taken a stone colored presence. Flames cast a glow onto her long robes.

Can movie news sites stop using Infamous Iron Man images like this when talking about RDJ as Doom? This isn't Tony Stark as Doom, it's Victor Von Doom as Iron Man. Very important difference.

Superman and Lois is a remarkably charming show and I actually really enjoyed watching it, like a lot. It has this fun feeling to it, a weight to its characters that makes me appreciate not just Superman, but Clark Kent too in a way I don’t think I’ve ever seen before

This is why you fight these cowards. The moment you stand up to them, they crumble. Homan has nothing. The Fourth Amendment is clear and I am well within my duties to educate people of their rights. He can threaten me with jail and call names all he wants. He’s got nothing else.

Honestly, same. I hadn’t planned on watching because I wasn’t fond of the animation choices seen in the ads, not my preference, but this whole thing with his interviews has given me ‘not quite but getting closer than I’m comfortable with to Spider-Man lotus’ vibes. Not for me

Spider-Man is of good, justice, and what’s right- he’s definition woke. to pretend otherwise is a misunderstanding and misrepresentation of who the character is. + using the phrase ‘woke’ as a blatant pejorative adds to a whole other issue, we all know what you mean when you say it

Jasper Jay 🕸️ @bluueejayart.bsky.social · 29/01/2025

The whole Spider-Man VA thing tells me he fundamentally misunderstands Spider-Man and what his character values across decades of publication. Like? Standing against injustice, and valuing the lives of ALL around him, being THE indomitable human spirit for good and right areTHE Spider-Man traits

imagine playing SPIDER-MAN on screen only to say something embarrassing and stupid right before your show is coming out. OH, BROTHER, THIS GUY STINKS.

Folks trying to act cool and aloof about the TikTok ban sound genuinely idiotic. If you don’t get why it’s a devastating and dangerous precedent, that says way more about you than the people lamenting its loss. I learned so much on that app. I saw the funniest shit of my life there. Shit sucks.

Some Wanda themed backgrounds / screens for anyone to use should they please- I drew these aaaaages ago but yeah :p

A black screen with red and pink-ish tiara’s, modeled after Wanda Maximoff’s iconic tiara/crown piece. There are crowns, hex circles, and stars scattered everywhere.
