If you are starting a web comic, even if it's just silly doodles for fun, think NOW about how it will adapt to printed form, and keep high resolution copies of every panel/page for that eventuality. It might take years, but one day you'll have a collection of comics that many people want on a shelf.

The water feed line to the ice maker in the fridge at the Prancing Skiltaire has apparently been leaking for months, if not years ... it was discovered that this caused a proliferation of black mold under the subfloor and now we get to remediate the mold, bought a new dumb-fridge - delivery Friday -

Spent a couple hours trying to remember the name of a webcomic that stopped getting updates 8 years ago... Google? Useless. Google's AI mode? Slightly better, in that it would point me at web comics instead of SEO articles about comics industry garbage, but confidently said I was looking for X

When we hate on these disgusting immoral evil billionaires it’s bc just look at everything Dolly did. They could be doing that. They could just be helping people and every day they choose not to help people. They choose to harm. And when they die, we’ll dance and laugh and be thankful they’re gone.

Anyone done the math recently on pros & cons of cash up front vs annuity for large lottery jackpots? Biggest pro for annuity I can think of is that you can't blow it all at once. Good for people with no impulse control (which gambling indicates a propensity for)

Tried v14-lite and it mostly works well for highway driving, though I wish it would get to a needed exit lane sooner... hitting a gore point even though it had 10 miles to get over to the right lane is a really bad look. When I got home, it pulled into the neighbor's driveway. :(
