Glad you got it resolved. Not the same, but I once left two water bottles - mine and my son's - on a Lufthansa flight at Frankfurt. I spoke to lost & found not hoping for much but they managed to find the bottles and get them to me before I boarded my connecting flight.

My Outlook has had a bug for over a year where the notification dot disappears after a few seconds of outlook starting and never shows up again. I've gone days without checking email because of this.

The funny thing is that I learnt about the typographical origins of leading from the very first book on CSS that I read way back in 1998. That book also spoke about the railway line effect of serif fonts.

Shared trauma from developing for IE where your only tool for debugging was the `alert` dialog.

Once upon a time Internet Explorer on Windows treated <SELECT> elements as a separate window context from the main page so it didn't share z-index with the rest of the page unless you added an iframe with position:absolute right under it, and that wasn't even the strangest IE issue.

Found the weirdest thing when we stopped for ice cream after a waterfall hike. Apparently it's the "first confirmed UFO experience" in MA (not independently verified by me).
A plaque signed by then Gov of MA, Charlie Baker acknowledging the off world experience of Thomas Reed: "ON BEHALF OF THE CITIZENS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS, I AM PLEASED TO CONFER UPON YOU THIS GOVERNOR'S CITATION IN RECOGNITION OF THE OFF-WORLD INCIDENT ON SEPTEMBER 1, 1969, WHICH ENGAGED THE REED FAMILY, WHICH HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED. YOUR DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE INCIDENT WAS FACTUALLY UPHELD, FOUNDED, AND DEEMED HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT AND TRUE BY MEANS OF MASSACHUSETTS HISTORIANS. THE RECORDS HIGHLIGHTING THE HISTORIC EVENT ARE NOW OFFICIALLY PART OF THE GREAT BARRINGTON, MA HISTORICAL SOCIETY'S COLLECTION AND YOUR RECENT INDUCTION INTO MASSACHUSETTS HISTORY.

THIS THIRD DAY OF NOVEMBER IN THE YEAR 2015"A monument at UFO Park MA.

In India we used to wash leaves and greens in Potassium Permanganate (KMnO4) to kill any parasites and their eggs. Many homes have a small box of KMnO4 in the spice cabinet for this purpose.

This was my entry. I used Einkorn which is a typically very hard grain to work with, but tastes amazing. I used pepitas and black & white sesame for my seeds. I didn't rack in the top 3, but am looking forward to feedback from the judges sometime in the next week.
A loaf of sandwich bread on a metal cooling rack with a vase of flowers just above it. Both are on a wooden table. The flower vase has mostly green leaves of different types and a small bunch of small white flowers of a type unknown to me.
The sandwich bread is arranged horizontally with a wavy pattern of black and white sesame seeds running across the loaf on the lower half of the top face. The pattern ends at a score line running the length of the loaf. The loaf is a rich brown color with a slightly darker shade along the lip of the score line. A side on view of a loaf of sandwich bread with a white and black sesame seed pattern of stripes on the right side and a pronounced lip along the score line on top.

Le Grand Prix Elmendorf du Pain starts in East Cambridge in just over an hour from now. I dropped off my seeded sandwich loaf earlier this morning. #bread #sourdough #ecba #elmendorf #cambridgema eastcambridgeba.com/le-grand-pri... img1.wsimg.com/isteam/ip/6a...
Poster of "Le Grand Prix Elmendorf Du Pain 2026". The poster is split into three rectangular sections arranged horizontally to form a larger rectangle. The center section is black with a yellow circle in the center and a drawing of a rooster in a chef's hat walking and carrying a bread boule on a platter on the tip of its right wing. The text "Le Grand Prix" is at the top and "Elmendorf 20 DU PAIN 26, Parisian Street Fair" is below.
The left section is red with two circles arranged vertically with a right facing arrow between them. The top circle is off-white and has the date "Sunday June 14th" in it and the bottom circle is yellow with the text "12PM to 4PM" in it.
The right section is yellow with two circles arranged vertically with a left facing arrow between them. The top circle is off white with the text "ECBA" with the East Cambridge Business Association Logo, and the bottom circle is red with the location "Cambridge Street & Eight" written in it. The "&" symbol is presented as the iris of an eye.
Each of the sections is outlined in an off-white border. The rectangles have straight vertical borders with the horizontal borders being slightly jagged to mimic the feeling of paper that has been torn off a sheet or weathered with time.

Same in India. School starts in June, same time as the monsoon season. 3 months of continuous rain. We'd bike to school no matter how heavy the rain was, and still be wearing dryish clothes in class.
