Spent quite some of my time off deep cleaning & meal prepping. Looking around at my clean house & full freezer with a deep sense of satisfaction. Now I just have to wait till Halloween so I can get my mitts on a pumpkin* for a batch of soup. *virtually impossible to get in the UK until Halloween

Finally opened the VERY expensive masonry paint that I bought three months ago. I ordered 'light beige'. What I got was Grey. Sod it. I ploughed on regardless because I want this done to see us through the winter.... it looks more lavender though! And the fence was supposed to be English sage!

Today we are making Aubergine Rolotini's. This is a new one on me so will report back once its baked. Can report that the filling of the Aubergine rolls is cream cheese,, garlic, parmesan and basil. It should have been ricotta but there was none to be found in the market, not even for ready money 😊
