The timing of Crazy Taxi’s return is perfect for me. I played the game on the DC back in the day, followed by a real life break. 25y later, I finally have the time and passion for SEGA again - a company whose consoles I’ve played since the MS2 days. No old, stay gold #SEGA ! youtu.be/XordDIexPAQ?...

Translating without seeing the game? ✅ Communicating with gestures because the Canadian developer only spoke French? ✅ My time as the solo translator for the German language on the game "Last Whisper" (Steam) was wild - pure chaos... but also a unique experience back then! 😅 #indiedev #indiegame

Since I have a weakness for weird games myself, I wanted to ask you if you also like a special retro game that hardly anyone else likes!? #retrogaming #nostalgia #arcade #80s #90s

I just had to share this rare find with you! I had this LCD game as a kid and loved it. I never thought you could still find it in such great condition. Pure nostalgia - who else remembers it? #retrogaming #topgun @konamina.bsky.social

Do you remember LCD Games? 🕹️👾 Besides Top Gun and TMNT, which came from Konami and were based, at least in terms of design, on their NES games, Tiger was the largest provider of these technically very simple games. Even Nintendo offered their "Game & Watch" LCD devices at the time. #retrogaming #80s

The legend of Yoshi 3D SNES: Argonaut, which had already worked with Nintendo on the Super FX chip and Star Fox, showed them a tech demo for a 3D Yoshi game in the mid 90s. BigN declined and the collaboration ended. However, Argonaut took the idea and turned it into their Croc: Legend of the Gobbos.

Here in Germany, consoles played a negligible role in the 80s. There were people who had them, but hardly anyone cared. The C64 was the star of the schoolyard. Anyone who wanted something more impressive had an Amiga to show off.

We put up a proposal that lays out a way for users to declare whether/how they want their data to be used by things like generative AI or public archives, check it out on github: github.com/bluesky-soci...
