All of this to say, I cant think of any character that transition would fix more than John Locke

Blue Maelstrom (FF14: Zoe Daxa) @bluemaelstrom.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

His entire character is built around trying to prove that hes the wise patriarchal super special badass main protagonist of the plot despite the immense harm it causes himself and everyone around him, both unintentionally and intentionally.

...into sports, cars, hunting, etc., and he blames his own nerdy interests for him being bullied. He then spends his *entire life* trying to prove that hes a "hunter" while being easily manipulated over and over by literally anyone willing to make him feel special or uniquely chosen.

Ive been watching Lost and theres this absolutely heartbreaking flashback in season 4 where Locke as a teenager has a meltdown over being offered a scholarship to a science camp because, despite clearly having a love of and talent for STEM, his self-identity is *entirely* built around being...

My kitbash of Cassia Orsellio from the Rogue Trader videogame! I spent a ton of time planning this one out and I feel like the result was pretty damn close to the character

As if them trying to push through KOSA wasn't bad enough, now they're trying to straight-up get rid of Section 230. Everyone, please call your Senators and Representatives about this and tell them to oppose this bill!

Battle sisters have my fave aesthetic in the game. Their models can be a bit tricky to paint well compared to a lot of others but im always super happy with the results.

Idk maybe i just have rose tinted glasses but i feel like there used to be an art to this, where seasons would end with the main narrative thrust of the story satisfyingly concluded, but then *also* throw in hooks for the next chapter of the story or leave a beloved character's fate up in the air.

"Never conclude *anything*, always end the season right *before* the narrative climax or exciting confrontation. You thought we were going somewhere with this character's arc? Lol nope thats a mystery box we'll open next season (if we get renewed)"

Im so tired y'all. I know that the Netflix model incentivizes cliffhangers in order to maximize audience retention (🤮) but the current trend really feels like its taken to an absurd extreme where it feels like every show abruptly ends one episode early.
