People have asked about the mask aliens in Everybody's Perfect, so here is a Laodikan (left) and a Zanguo enjoying Venice.

Today! My first novel in six years! Everybody's Perfect! Delany once titled a story "A Tale of Plagues and Carnivals." But what if more plague and more carnivals? What if Venice but less substantial? And more magical? With immigration and friendship? It's a bit weird but I hope you like it anyway.

Everybody's Perfect, artfully arranged on an antique map of Italy with part of my toy Venetian bookshelf and a cool pen that was a gift from Novacon when I was GoH in 2013. Photo, concept, and artful arrangement by my daughter Alex Walton, and the map is hers too.

#SomethingBeautiful Venice. This is an example of something I talk about in Everybody's Perfect. The close up stuff is clear and in focus, and the further away stuff is a bit misty and the distance is just hazed away.
