Outlast Trials rig coming along nicely. Attached to the harness now, so just needs more details like weathering, decals etc.

It’s just over a year since my mental health breakdown. Am I better? Not fully, but taking steps to not see that horrible darkness ever again.

Don’t listen to reviews. Either play the games yourself or ask someone you know what something is like. It’s too easy to jump on the band wagon when something is trending with “terrible” reviews. It’s all opinions in the end.

Finally home from Gamescom. This year had its ups, but also had its downs to which I like to get written down before sending feedback to the relevant parties. This is not my first Gamescom, and it certainly won’t be my last, but hope things can improve for future events.

Have to rant. Ordered an air con unit weekend just gone. Was meant to be delivered yesterday. That has now changed to supposedly arriving before or on 25th June. Hasn’t moved since ordering according to the tracking. Literally the one time we need this and it couldn’t go smoothly?! 🫠

Corporate accounts that think they are cool to jump on a “trend” when they literally have no relevancy to what they are commenting on, especially from a different industry. Kinda off putting and a little disrespectful?

Fighting this horrible sore throat/cough thing that I seemed to have picked up from train travel. Seriously, if you are ill and using public transport, wear a mask to protect others that have compromised immune systems 😓

I love Cairn, but I’ve been punished by the game by being pushed out of bounds into the mountain itself and cannot get back inbounds on first attempt! I guess this is what happens to the other climbers that attempted to reach the top 🥲 @thegamebakers.com

Just some highlights from MCM London Comic Con May. Meeting Nadji Jeter who was Miles Morales/Sam in TLOU (reaction was priceless over his gift), having a catch up with the con fam by having a meal at our usual restaurant and mini painting!

Image shows me next to the MCM comic con sign. Background has text that says MCM comic con and Reed Pop on it.

I’m wearing my Cassandra cosplay from Resident Evil Village

Meeting Nadji Jeter who voices + mocaps for Miles Morales in the Miles Morales/ Spider-Man video games.

Gave him a gift which his reaction was priceless.

Image shows 8 people posing for the camera. 2 people are on the floor (after a happy accident of giving hugs and tripping over)

Image shows a miniature of an owl in armour.
This was done at MCM comic con through the free miniature painting session

So Insomnia Gaming Festival is apparently being resurrected? After ghosting everyone for a whole year, let go of staff, didn’t pay winners of tournaments, etc. Trust broken. “We’d said we will be back…” is the tagline 🤔 don’t think it was mentioned anywhere.

After spending a few days in Edinburgh, it’s now bought on a fascination with statues, symbolism and graveyards. To be honest I’ve been interested in these things since I was young, but history in school never taught that stuff 😆

Really want to play my N64 again, but realised that all the cables for it won’t work in our TV. We don’t have room for an older tv that was likely bought from Argos, with the grey shell and actual buttons on the front of it, in case the remote doesn’t work 🥲🥲

All my pictures in Infinity Nikki have gone 😞 You can’t back them up as easily as PC and they classed it as a ‘rare bug’. Compensation was not enough for over 160 hours put into the game, doing photoshoots just to go up in smoke. Don’t want to play anymore.
