I think that you’ll find yourself being more creative by being inconsistent with your characters outfits/accessories and it even feels more personable/realistic I don’t wear the same top every day why submit your characters to the same limitations have some fun and keep their initial design anyways

Of course there are some people who do find enjoyment capturing that 1x1 look but if you find yourself dreading replicating the same design you’ve made already and were satisfied with once I recommend you just fuck around a bit instead

Drawing my OCs for the first time has really opened my eyes to the fact it’s a huge drag trying to pay attention to every single little detail and making sure everything’s perfect over just getting your idea down change their hairstyles give different outfits and accessories it rlly does not matter
