nah still broken lol. 153 ESR seems it came with a bug that makes it so bsky or reddit playing a video on inactive tabs prevents the suspend button from working for whatever reason.

I had to disable autoplay on firefox cause I just got the 153 ESR version and background autoplay prevents suspend lol

The carpet is ancient so it's hard to judge on smell because the entire thing smells nasty even after using the carpet cleaner. I hate carpet ;-;

Does anyone else with OCD really really hate wall to wall carpet like I do? I already wash my hands enough now and now I need to worry whether a wet spot on the carpet was just water someone spilled or dog pee...

PLUS my grandparents refuse to install a pet door because 1) the barking and 2) one of their previous dogs died because they ran out the dog door and drowned in the pool. So if the dog pees on a spot in the middle of the night (BECAUSE THEY CANT GO OUT) it becomes REGULAR.

as much as I hate sweeping and mopping floors I'd rather our house not have so much wall to wall carpet because it is DISGUSTING because dogs can have accidents that become regular and it just completely ruins the carpet when you don't catch it immediately.

When I'm drawing I have to kick my mouse and keyboard to the side to put my tablet on my desk but they become awkward to use which is why I really love the "tablet-like design" GNOME gets a lot of flack for because it is super easy and pain free to navigate with my drawing tablet.

Literally perfect, I don't have to worry about having an old Krita, All of my creative software is flatpaks and having those on top of a dependable base helps me sleep at night.

I was gonna spend so much time troubleshooting and booting into a Live Debian 13 GNOME to see if an issue I had with Characters in overview search was persistent in it too but just installing the Flatpak solved that, now I can use my time doing something else.

Literally could not imagine using Debian stable without flatpaks, time and time again it has proven itself so useful for having new graphical apps on an unchanging base. There is no FOMO when you can download the latest version of a GNOME app without changing what distro you use.

Newer software means less to me now that I have to manage it, and I can just install creative apps through Flathub and have the latest features anyways... Having to update every day and restart a bunch of services that takes down my session is just blegh atp.
