When I'm drawing I have to kick my mouse and keyboard to the side to put my tablet on my desk but they become awkward to use which is why I really love the "tablet-like design" GNOME gets a lot of flack for because it is super easy and pain free to navigate with my drawing tablet.

Literally could not imagine using Debian stable without flatpaks, time and time again it has proven itself so useful for having new graphical apps on an unchanging base. There is no FOMO when you can download the latest version of a GNOME app without changing what distro you use.

You WILL NOT Believe the Performance Difference!

An edit of a screenshot showcasing side by side Unigine Heaven Benchmarks on the left from Debian Testing on kernel 7.2.6 and on the right Debian Stable with kernel 6.12.107. They both have a average FPS of 79.8 and a score of 2010 on Medium quality. There is an exaggerated red arrow and circle around the stable result with a photo of a surprised cat. In the middle there is text saying "CRAZY IMPROVEMENT?!"

*looking at a monitor's store page and making sad pathetic noises* (I know I super suck at perspective, bite me)

A drawing of a person crying in yearning for a new monitor at a computer with dual screens. The person has red front bangs and a black back half, they have huge hare ears that are laying flat to indicate they are sad (they are also crying so yeah). They are wearing a red and black striped crop top, black leggings, black fingerless gloves, and no shoes. They are sitting at a blue desk on a gray office chair, they have a keyboard with red LED letters, and they have a black desk mat below it. On the bruised LCD screen is an illustrated GNOME desktop showing a webpage of a $200 "Awesome 19:10" monitor. There is text and arrows on top of the image in various places, one pointing towards the person reading "unemployed," another is pointed at the monitor reading "Terrible Screen Bruise," and just above the monitor reads "(2006 Monitor)." There is also text indicating sound effects for crying like "ueeuee," "uuuuu," and "hic."

A screenshot of the GNOME desktop environment showcasing a dynamic 24-hour wallpaper of Mumbo's Hermitcraft Season 10 Minecraft base with shaders, since it is 10:20 PM in the screenshot it is nighttime in the wallpaper. Two windows are open, one being Files showcasing the folder of all 16 frames being 1.3 GB with filenames indicating the times they are spaced out throughout the day, and the second window is the GNOME Settings Appearance tab showcasing the wallpaper with a little clock on the bottom left.

I have a big folder of wallpapers I like and an extension switches between them every 5 minutes, I do this cause if I didn't I'd probably have the same wallpaper for like a year straight lol

A screenshot of GNOME Files open to my wallpaper folder, it contains 41 pictures, some being default wallpapers from GNOME, old GNOME wallpapers that aren't available, macOS wallpapers, Pink Floyd wallpapers, Hare photos and a painting of leverets, photos I've taken of clouds and foliage, and the default Debian wallpaper.

I love this GNOME extension I just found !! I still wanted to see the time when I was watching stuff fullscreen or gaming on my primary monitor, so I was using an extension that duplicated it, but it always felt super off, this one just feels so much nicer! extensions.gnome.org/extension/43...
