i honestly forgot that mirras don't even, like, damage you, or anything. they just get scared if you attack too close to them and do that so if you want the door they live on you have to kinda ambush them. what a beautiful organism. mimic that's more scared of you than you are of it

There's a picture book from my childhood that I just can't find. I think it was an aesop's fables book (or a similar book full of short moral stories) and the art style was heavily abstracted and very interesting to look at. I used to borrow that book so much, but I can't find it now...
