I only have a couple of hours to work on it in the evenings, and I’m very slow, but I find it relaxing.

I’m planning to paint the red and white one so I didn’t really try too hard to avoid stress marks with that one.

I do >cut the piece off the sprue with the cheap GodHands >trim nubs with the Dspaie >file with Gunprimer Raser then Balancer. Most of the outer armor is undergated so nubs don’t show, but the grey inner frame stress marks if you look at it so I’m using that to practice perfect nub removal.

I have not sprung for the fancy Godhands. Yet.

Our power was out for nine hours yesterday and my schedule got all out of whack (couldn’t have my regularly scheduled tea, pleeze do not mess with my routines, I get cranky), so I sat on my ass and started started a small Prime. Finished him this evening. He’s very cute.

Their only redeeming quality is that they’re harmless.

It took me years to get used to wind scorpions and not want to smash the hell out of them. They are just creepy as fuck in an unattractive undercooked way.

It’s very hard to get them to sting. None of the dogs have ever been bitten even when they’ve harassed one. We usually try to get them out of the yard anyways. I like them. They’re pretty.

Cows. (We live on open range and the cows have pushed down our north fence. The dogs do not like cows in their territory.)

They don’t fly terribly well. They tend to weave around and bounce off of things. If one gets in the house it’s a bitch to get them back out.

Saw a tarantula hawk the other day. Have not seen any tarantulas yet this year.

Marsh, smooth Saluki, and Khroma, West Siberian Laika. Summer is coming on and Khroma has reached the exploding cattail phase of her shed cycle.
