Summary

Why doesn't he scream for help, one might ask? Well, easy, that's cause he gets a mouthful of fingers instead. As for why he doesn't when they're gone, well. He just had a real pretty guy's fingers in his mouth, so sue him for his thoughts being a little slow to catch up.

then of course we have the au concept that inspired my kaiser/nanase fic, featuring the famed race car rose mcemperor and his trusty, podunk sidekick, uh. nanase. i swear its nanase please his only distinguishing feature is his headband 😭 #bllkcrackweek2026

one doodle of a light blue racecar with livery similar to kaiser's rose tattoo, the number 19 on the side, and he's rolling his eyes with the caption 'do you even own an air fryer'. beside him is a tow truck drawn in the style of mater from cars, looking vaguely irritated with the caption 'ain't right, what yer pa did ta ya...' with another smaller doodle beside it with the caption 'ah, sorry ta bring up old memories. what can i getcha?' beneath these is another doodle of the nanase truck with a confused look and a thought bubble that says 'air fryer?'

No Archive Warnings ApplyItoshi Rin/Karasu TabitoItoshi Rin Karasu TabitoCrow Karasu Tabito Scarecrow Itoshi Rin The Concept of Winter Itoshi Rin Squirrel Itoshi Rin POV Alternating

Summary

The crow lands right on his arm like it doesn't know what he is. It's in the name - scarecrow. Scare crow. Scare crow.

The other karasu like to tell him he's strange for staying when Rin comes, but Karasu's not sure about that - it'd be boring of him to go south, it'd be strange of him to go north in search of Rin. Therefore, in Karasu's estimation, it's more that he's being about as ordinary as a karasu can be, staying right where he is.

It is, as far as Tabito can tell, a perfectly ordinary squirrel. So it makes perfect sense, then, that the big cone on the pole would stop it from climbing up to steal some of Tabito's treats.
