With winter on the way I'm looking very much forward to swapping 'garden time' for 'mini painting time' until spring. Two Starcraft armies to paint, a lot of Battletech WIPs to finish, and a bunch more ideas shelved over the insanely chaotic last ~18 months gonna get done.

To expand on this: nothing kills my momentum more than not having the thing I need *right now*, so I mean right down to like, what gauge of brass sheeting/your most commonly used diameter of polystyrene rod, etc. I want to stock a workbench, kinda. Thanks in advance and again, amazing work.

I've been painting minis for a cumulative decade. In the last year-ish started dipping my toes into conversions/kitbashes. Yours are crazy impressive. If you don't mind answering a question: is there a list of materials you'd recommend someone pick up and just have on hand for most projects?

I used my thumb to scrape some seeds out of a hungarian wax pepper making dinner last night. Hands have been washed i don't even know how many times but there's still a detectable amount of capsaicin lurking under the thumbnail. TL;DR - don't do this.

Sure, but I didn't say go engage with them. The tools used on bsky to take away the oxygen for their behaviour are available everywhere: block, ostracize, ignore, etc. None of those things are the same as avoiding a public (ish) space because they are present in it.

I'm almost a month into my return to the home gym. Modified everything to work around my shitty lower back. In there 5 days a week. Diet sorted. I'm not benching my bodyweight (yet) but working weights are all climbing like crazy and I *feel* strong as fuck.

I have committed to becoming gym man. This necessitates a meal plan where my ADHD having ass now has reminders set to actually eat, because I've been accidentally consuming only ~1500-1600 calories a day. I'm 5'11" with wrists 8" around. It's a miracle I haven't fucking died.
