I need more followers to see the birds I see

blippy @blippy.bsky.social · 14h

Can’t wait for the next official trust and safety post clarifying that telling trans people to enjoy the camps is okay, it’s only now against the rules when you say it to the mods

I’m still searching for them…

when I see antitrans, pro-ice, pro-war, pro-murder politics from someone I like I dont suddenly see things from their point of view, I immediately think significantly less of them for it it’s a repulsive ideology, which is why they are always demanding our friendship rather than the other way around

blippy @blippy.bsky.social · 17h

really incredible how after so many years of conservatives and libertarians rubber stamping atrocity upon atrocity, we still have chart guys saying shit like that

blippy @blippy.bsky.social · 17h

nailed it

I got so many new lifers… I can’t wait to get the full count on Monday 😮‍💨

blippy @blippy.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

also if you’re ever in the area and love birds, I strongly recommend checking out the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve. aside from being beautiful and full of birds, today was their tortoise Tino’s 18th birthday, so they had a little bday party going 😭

Seth Moulton getting sent into space probably gave them pause

blippy @blippy.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Yep. They all knew it was bogus. This is conspiracy content for right wing media

The consequence of always following pollsters, consultants, and data is that you will always be following others and never leading

blippy @blippy.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

It’s peak Democrat strategy to have candidates adopt anti-trans positions right as attacks become ineffective as a whole

pretty wide gamut on trans issues, from people who marginally support trans people, to the most heinously bigoted former Reagan speechwriter firebrands

They’re centrist to right wing never trump republicans

it will probably be a more traditional conservative exec that no one’s ever heard of, if I had to guess

blippy @blippy.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

mission accomplished for bari. wrecked CBS, took the heat, and will now be replaced with someone silently worse

blippy @blippy.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

funny to do all this and then lose to an opponent that campaigns by going up on stage and doing 3 hours of improv politics a week no lessons can be learned

blippy @blippy.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

nothing more inspiring than someone saying they cooked up their candidates beliefs in a lab, based on data shocking this stuff doesn’t work

Limpkins' diet consists mainly of large snails and you can find the shells littered all over our park

Should hate speech be illegal? Yeah? But if those laws are going to be used against the populous frivolously like in the UK? Maybe not?

blippy @blippy.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

i always struggle with these because for all but the most obvious questions i always feel like there's a caveat that makes me likely to answer "IDK maybe"

it's really hard to give someone the benefit of the doubt when they are an op-ed writer for the new york times. certainly not all of them are pamela paul, but damn

blippy @blippy.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

i feel so much safer on here now that dogpiling has been made illegal 😌

blippy @blippy.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

i can understand the average NYT op-ed writer being a weird attention farming sicko, ready to blow the first response out of proportion, but what gets me are all the sycophant reply guy accounts with author and writer in the bio, validating bizarre & anti-social behavior the NYT aint hiring u bro
